Man Cub Party

Sunday we had Jackson’s 1st birthday party. We were so glad family and friends were able to come celebrate this special day with us!

Jackson was the ladies man with 2 cute girls to play with! Here he is with Courtney sharing his train.

Katelyn was so sweet to share a balloon with Jackson. They all played really well together. It was so cute to watch them.

Jackson totally racked up on the gifts! I think we now own every toy in Target. This is Jackson’s reaction to the laptop we got him. He LOVES my laptop, so we got him his own. This is actually how he reacted to every present.

He did get distracted by the girls playing with his other toys. They all had to play with the same thing. At least they didn’t fight over anything. I was surprised at how well they all shared with each other.

Mimi got him these cars that he LOVED! And she got him a really cool rug with roads on it.

Katelyn showed Jackson how to work his new tool set! There were lots more gifts that I didn’t get pictures of. But Jackson loved all of them!

Jackson did not know what to think about his cake! Especially with everyone watching him.

He may of eaten a bite or two of cake. Not the smashing and huge mess I was hoping for. But, thats ok.

I hope everyone had fun. I think Jackson enjoyed his party, even if he didn’t know it was just for him.

We had to put a gate at the bottom of the stairs. Jackson is a master stair climber! He can be at the top of the stairs in a flash, but doesn’t know how to get back down. This is what he thinks of the gate. He just stands there and shakes the gate. Silly cub!

We had it down during the party because Jackson had his first spend the night party at Grammy and Grandpa’s on Friday night.  Gasp! I know. Mommy was not prepared for that and there were tears (mommy’s) shed. Jackson did great though. He wore Grammy and Grandpa out! We had to put the gate up at their house so the cub would not fall down their basement stairs.
