This year for Grammy's birthday I made her a new purse. I have really been wanting to make this bag, especially after seeing the one Emily made.

So, I picked some cute wintery fabric and went to work.
I think it turned out really cute. I especially love the green fabric on the inside lining. Grammy wants a snap to close it, so I will have to figure out how to add that now. I really should have added it before sewing it together, but the instructions didn’t call for it, so I didn’t think of it then. I was sick while making this bag. Not really a good idea to sew when I’m sick apparently. I had to rip it out a few times. It really wasn’t very hard to make, I just had a snotty, foggy head. I used Amy Butler’s Birdie Sling pattern. I have a few more ideas in my head for this bag. I can’t wait to make more. I wouldn’t be surprised if a few end up under the Christmas tree!

The purse turned out great! Good job! I love Jackson's second hat too! I've really been trying to practice my knitting, so far it's so-so. I have a pattern for a beanie hat that I really want to make! Lovin' my husband being home!
